After graduating college, I spent five years as an accountant for a large hospital system — learning how enterprise-level financials are built, tracked, and used to drive major decisions. That foundation gave me a deep respect for what accurate, well-organized numbers can do for an organization.

From there, I joined a well-known HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractor as their primary financial employee. Over the next 20 years, I helped guide that company from $6 million in annual revenue to over $70 million. I wasn't just keeping the books — I was in the room for every major financial decision, building the reporting systems and cash flow strategies that made that kind of growth possible.

I started DPBS Accounting Solutions because I saw how transformative that financial clarity was for one company — and I wanted to bring that same level of insight to small business owners who rarely have access to it.
